Our lineups are carefully curated, featuring exclusive bottlings, limited editions, and surprising discoveries. The tastings take place in a cozy setting – ideal for an evening out with friends or colleagues. We sometimes pair them with themes like 'peat monsters' or 'Speyside gems.' Buds and Barrels organizes both small-scale tastings in the shop and larger events on location. Occasionally, we also invite brand ambassadors or distillery experts to offer extra depth. This way, you truly get to know the stories behind the bottles. Every tasting is different, with room for interaction and personal questions. Some participants are loyal customers who have attended multiple times, while others are discovering our offerings for the first time. We ensure that everyone feels welcome. There is always a mix of classic and modern whiskies, as well as room for experimentation: think of a mezcal finish or a whisky aged in wine barrels. Each bottle is carefully explained and discussed.
