The beginning
You know how it is... As a student, I occasionally had a whisky and coke, then moved on to single malt with Glenfiddich 12 y. That triggered my desire to delve deeper into the product. That's how I started attending tastings to learn about the different flavor profiles and joined a whisky club.
Expanding a network of collectors and whisky enthusiasts is also pure fun. I am a Whisky Ambassador after completing—and passing—"The Original Accredited Scotch Whisky Training Course."
Inspired by quality
Our selection can work for everyone. There are more expensive selections or collector's items, but equally, the art lies in being able to offer more affordable, yet very high-quality bottlings.
Hereby we base ourselves on reviews and tasting notes from experienced whisky enthusiasts within my network and on personal findings.
The man behind the story…
Tom Haseldonckx – a man in his forties – happily married with two cherished children and a loyal Labrador completing the family circle – Socially engaged and professionally active in the pharmaceutical sector – An avid hobbyist in the world of whisky. With a fondness for ambitious yet young distilleries. WOLFBURN in Thurso, Scotland (the Highlands).
Selected with passion
A selective range, but innovative with a few established favorites. We find and source bottles through continuous monitoring of market developments and direct contacts within the global whisky network.
Whisky that falls outside the standard offering but has a good price/quality ratio leads to fantastic discoveries. We are looking for new releases, lesser-known or emerging distilleries, limited bottlings & products from local distilleries.

Sharing passion
I am trying to spontaneously share my passion with a broader audience or select groups by regularly organizing tastings (approx. 5 times/year) around different themes and with different speakers.
